Letters - Gg, Ii

Sight Words - big, little, it, in, go

Teacher Directed - We are continuing to learn new vocabulary from stories and use it in our daily activities and conversations.

Daily Message - We are continuing to write sentences with our sight words.  We understand that there are letters, words and sentences.  We can count the letters in a word, and the words in a sentence.  We also are beginning to understand that a sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark.

Math - positional words

Writing - We understand that we should use a meatball space between our words and spaghetti space between our letters.  We draw and write so that others understand what we are writing about.

Social Studies - We will talk and learn about Columbus Day on Thursday.

Things to Remember.....

a small snack for each day
a water bottle for recess
closed toe shoes for PE
media center on Tuesday
money and permission slip for the Pumpkin Patch
please check and sign your child's folder each night.
